None of the tech companies would like to tolerate or ignore the problem of heat/fire/blast in any of its gadgets. In the same momentom Apple recalls older generation 15-inch MacBook Pro becuase it could catch fire.
The company has said that there is a possibility of a fire in the MacBook Pro 2015, though Apple has also clarified that a problem in some of the MacBook Pro units only.
According to a statement from the company, the MacBook Pro battery, sold between September 2015 and February 2017, is having trouble and catching heat which may cause fire.
In such a case, it has been decided to withdraw them. The company has also issued a serial number of such laptops on its website, from which you can check your laptop. Please note that the problem of heating the battery is in the 15-inch and 13-inch model of the MacBook Pro only.
So, don’t panic just check your laptop serial no. from company’s offcial website.

The company has asked the customers to check the serial number of their laptops on Apple’s website and if their laptop matches with the problem then the company will replace the battery in free of cost.
Please note that Apple had earlier changed the battery of the iPhone to just $29 and apologized for the iPhone’s problem due to the battery.
Battery replacement can take up to 2 weeks time
If you are planning for your MacBook battery replacement to Apple’s repair center, then at least you’ll have to leave your laptop there for 1-2 weeks.
At the same time, the company has also said that the battery warranty will not be increased during the battery replacement.
