Google has launched its new cloud storage service as “Google One” in India. Internet giant search engine company will make provide plans from 100GB to 30TB on products like Google Photos, Gmail and Google Drive.
Google announced a brand new product, Google One. Well, it’s actually an old product which is getting its own new name — Google One is a lot catchier — and with cheaper pricing options.
Yes, You are thinking right. We are talking about the rebranding of the Google Drive cloud storage product that was already available to Google consumers. All existing Google customers will be moved to the new product later this year.
Google One with a new pricing structure, from 100GB to 30TB, as follows:
15GB: Free with every Google account
100GB: $1.99 per month
200GB: $2.99 per month
2TB: $9.99 per month (down from previous $19.99 per month)
1TB: upgraded to 2TB at no extra cost
>2TB: prices remain the same
The user will have the freedom to share his storage plan with five family members. According to Google, this new service will not affect the corporate account.
This is notable that Google launched this service in the US in August and now it has been introduced in India.
