Holochain technology is going to challenge big companies like Google and Facebook in the matter of user data safety. With this new technology, the user’s data will be safe with him alone and the surprising thing is that it won’t be accessed by companies even if its a service provider. Currently, the user data on the smartphone goes directly to companies like Google and Facebook database. This data is secure, the third party can’t see it except in some cases. But Holochain will not let this happen. It will allow you to keep it safe with you.
In fact, the new technology is coming to market to compete with Tim Birner’s Lee’s World Wide Web launched in the year 1990s. It has been named Holochain. Its designers claim that this technique is the most important technique created since WWW, which helps the user to maintain online privacy.
Its founder and US software engineer Arthur Brock & Eric Harris-Braun said that this technology would prove to be more conclusive than our imagination.
You can not only create search engines, email, messenger or other types of apps, but it is not required to connect it to the corporate server from the app made through Holochain technology. All the data will be stored on the user’s computer. This is how Giant companies running corporate servers will not have access to user’s data.
The Holochain team is trying to give users the control of personal information safe by not providing personal data to the corporate servers. Broke says, “There is a user agent in Holochain and users can only decide where the data will store and who will look after to it.”
What is Holochain technique?
Like the WWW protocol, Holochain technology also prepares the computer to the internet. WWW runs on large corporate company servers, while Holochain technology is designed to run entirely on the network of personal computers and smartphones.
It means Holochain technology doesn’t allow data storage on large corporate servers. It only allows connected networks and computers within the network. On the other side, smartphone or computer sends requests to join the servers of large companies like Facebook or Google on WWW protocol, it exchanges data from those same servers.
Is Holochain technique affordable?
Holochain’s designers claim that they have succeeded in designing the technology. According to designer Brock, it will be 10 thousand times inexpensive and effective in terms of time and energy. Holochain’s designers launched the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) at the beginning of 2018. With the help of this, they gathered millions of dollars and launched the beta version of Holochain. It is believed that after the successful launch of the first effective app, it will be impossible to stop Holochain’s success.
