The last date for registering the votes for the Lok Sabha election 2019 is March 25.
Election Commission of India has declared dates of this year’s Lok Sabha elections, 2019, which has created a buzz in the country. There will be seven phases of Lok Sabha elections in the country, which will start on April 11 and run till May 19. After this, the votes will be counted on May 23. According to the Constitution of India, all citizens of the country whose age above 18 years have the right to vote.

How to register online for voter?
To register your vote online you will have to go to the National Voters Service Portal – nvsp.in. Here you will need to click Apply Online Registration of New Voter on the homepage.
– After this, form 16 will open up in a new window. Carefully fill in all the information asked in it.
– You will now have to upload your ID and residence certificate and your latest passport size photo.
– After filling all these details you will have to click the submit button below.
How to check whether you registered as voter or not ?
After registering to the vote, you will have to check whether your vote is registered or not. You will need to go to https://electoralsearch.in/ for this. Fill out all your information, such as name, age, state, district, all asked and required information here.
After this, in the next window you will see your name in the list of your constituency, it means that your vote has been registered. Now you will be able to use your voting rights on the particular voting day.
Required Documents for online voter registration
You will need two documents to register for the vote. First – ID proof and second adress proof. If you have a driver’s license and passport, then any one can help you out. Otherwise, you have to give separate documents for both these IDs and address proofs.
PAN card and student ID card will work as an ID card while the pass book, ration card, post office passbook, water / electricity / gas connection bill of the bank can be used for Adress Proof.
Along with this, if you are a tenant, you will have to submit an affidavit signed by the landlord. The students who have completed 18 years of age will have to give a copy of the berth certificate, tenth marksheet, Aadhar or passport for agg-proof.
