About 6 months later, Reliance has resumed booking of Jio Phone. Booking is going to done online from jio.com. It is reported that after booking of 60 lakh Jio phones in August, the booking of the second phase would start after Diwali but it did not happen. At the same time, the company has also introduced several new plans for Jio Phone users. So let’s understand the whole scenario.
How to book Jio Phone?
Step:1 Visit jio.com, There you will find a BOOK NOW option. When you click on it, you will be asked for a mobile number. After entering the mobile number you will need to click SUBMIT below. After that, enter the zip code of the area and if you want to book more than one JIO phone then click on the + button appearing on the right side.
Step:2 Now click on + more phone number and enter the mobile number, area pin code. Although you can book 5 phones with a single mobile number, while you can book up to 80 phones (5 phones/mobile numbers) with different mobile numbers. You will also be able to see the booking money.
Step:3 Now click on PROCEED. After that, you will get the option to pay Rs 1,500 for a phone. As you might know that the first jio phone booking was in the Rs 500 only. Now you can make payments with methods such as debit card, credit card, PayTM money, jio money, UPI and internet banking. After payment, you will get confirmation of booking.
Step:4 For the feature phones, the company has recently introduced a new plan of Rs 49. Under this plan, the validity of 28 days will get 1 GB data and unlimited callings. At the same time, the data speed will decrease after 1 GB data is consumed.
Step:5 Jio company has also updated the plan of Rs 153 for Jio Phone, which so far has a validity of 28 days, provides 1GB data, live app subscriptions and unlimited calls. At the same time, 28 Gb data is available for internet surfing.
