Instant messaging app WhatsApp has come up with a new feature update. Now you can send any format files to anyone.

Earlier, WhatsApp gave the feature of sending PDF files. However, it is notable that you can send only files up to 100MB. In the beginning, there was no option to send any file in WhatsApp but time to time App has started sharing photos, audio and PDF files.

After PDF, option to send files like CAV, DOC, PPT, PPTX, RTF, TXT, and SLS was given. But now after the new updates, almost all file types can be sent through WhatsApp.

The features were already available in Android beta versions but are only now officially being rolled out.

WhatsApp has started rolling out the new updated version in case if you haven’t received it already, it will get updates soon. According to media reports, iOS users can send files up to 128MB. While there is a limit of 100MB for Android. Only 64MB of files can be sent from the Whatsapp web site.

What’s new in WhatsApp update

Now after the new updates, you can share even Apps to anybody via Whatsapp. Because even the APK file will be easy to share.

Another update is also added to this update. Under this, you can select photos and videos directly from the camera screen. WhatsApp users will also be able to bundle files together.

Chat formatting is the next feature. Though WhatsApp users could edit text with effects like Bold and Strikethrough, the latest update makes it easier. Users simply need to select the text they wish to edit and the formatting tools will be presented. Using the tools, users can edit the text with the desired effects.

For all these new features, you need to update WhatsApp from Google’s Google Play Store. If you are an iPhone user then you can update it from the App Store. If you do not get this feature even after the update then you can wait a bit or download it from the APK Mirror website.
