The phone has 4100 mAh non-removable battery. And it is being called the biggest feature of the phone. Redmi 4 has a 5 inch HD (720×1280) IPS display that comes with 2.5D Curved-edge Glass. The phone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor that runs at 1.4GHz. Redmi 4 has three variants – 2 GB RAM / 16 GB storage, 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage. The storage of Redmi 4 can be increased to 128 GB via microSD card.
The new Radmi 4 smartphone will support connectivity features like 4G and VOLTE. With the use of two SIM cards simultaneously, only 4G calls and data will be run in the primary slot while the secondary SIM slot will support 2G itself.
This phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version. It also includes dual apps, so that two accounts of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp or any other app can be done.
The device also has a mi store app through which Xiaomi products and accessories can be purchased. We think the interface of this phone could be lightweight if it does not have too many apps. But not all of them can be deleted and one notable thing that they consume a lot of storage in the device. when a user signs in with mi account, he/she will get 5 GB of cloud storage free of cost.
Xiaomi 4 smartphone doesn’t support android 7.0 nougat features or Google Assistant at review but the company says that there will be updates for android 7.0 nougat in Redmi 4. Xiaomi has not promised any date for these kinds of updates.

Redmi 4 Design:
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is neither too much lighter nor smaller than it appears in the pictures. Radmi 4’s all-metal rear portion is polished and it looks more premium than the previous variant. even after some thickness or weight increase, the Redmi 4 has not changed much because it is easy to use the phone with one hand.
The phone has one mi logo and small letter text ‘Designed by Xiaomi / Made in India’ has been written on the rear side. For charging and USB data purposes there is a micro-USB port is provided at the bottom of the phone.
Camera features of Xiaomi Redmi 4:
This phone comes with 13 Megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixels with front camera for selfie lovers. We found the autofocus of Redmi 4 is much faster than 3S prime. The pictures coming from the camera comes very Detachedly and Sharp. Xiaomi Redmi 4 produces good pictures at night, but only when the subject has a good amount light.
The video can be recorded to 720 pixels and 1080 pixels from the phone and the video quality is also great.
Selfie from Redmi 4 is fine. But the image processed very slowly. We hope that this problem will be resolved with updates soon.
The performance of Xiaomi Redmi 4:
We reviewed 3 GB RAM unit and we got only 1.2 GB memory free on the phone. Which means that there can be a problem in multi-tasking in the Xiaomi Redmi 4 with 2 GB RAM variants. We played games like Cut the Rope 2 very easily. We recommend that you spend a little more money and take 4 GB RAM variants.
Voice quality of this phone is excellent even with earphone. (Earphones doesn’t come with the phone). 5 inch IPS display is bright and looks very sharp. The phone has a good experience to watch movies and play games with a 5-inch display. The phone has a reading mode also.
The phone has a very nice battery backup of 4100 mAh. You’ll love that phone runs easily throughout the day on simple/common usage grounds with full charging.
Xiaomi’s latest entry-level Redmi performance, battery life and design is the perfect package but there is a slight compromise with camera quality. We can understand that we can’t expect too much at these prices. overall it’s a good phone that you can buy.
It has launched at Rs. 6,999 for 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage; Rs. 8,999 for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage; and Rs. 10,999 for 4GB RAM of and 64GB of storage.
