World’s biggest video platform YouTube has announced the first show in India– a music talent hunt called ‘ARRived’ led by Oscar award-winner A.R. Rahman – under its YouTube Originals banner, which will release soon or you can understand about a month’s time from today. Initially, It will be supported and published by advertisements.
Satyam Raghavan, Entertainment Head, YouTube India, has informed the media that the company is focusing on multiple formats for original content series.
“Our DNA is built around partnerships, so a lot of competitors are our partners we work closely with, some of them are large advertisers of ours, some of them are large content partners. So for us, it is about growing the video pie not just for our own creators but for the entire online video industry for sure,” told Raghavan.

Voot has announced 17 new shows just last month.
